Channing Johnson is a trained photojournalist with a degree from a prestigious journalism school. After working as a newspaper staff photographer he began freelancing for prominent national publications. Today he documents weddings unobtrusively with a keen eye for the authentic moments.

Larisa and Chris actually got married last year. However, having all your friends and family in one place is a rare opportunity, and they didn't want to spend the day posing for pictures. But, they do want some nice pictures of the two of them. Almost a year later we spent an evening on Crane Beach in Ipswich getting some fun pictures of just the two of them in their wedding-best. Larisa and Chris earned all my respect when the mosquitos and gnats came out and tried to eat them alive. They ate me up, too, but it didn't matter if I looked miserable. These guys are pros.
