Channing Johnson is a trained photojournalist with a degree from a prestigious journalism school. After working as a newspaper staff photographer he began freelancing for prominent national publications. Today he documents weddings unobtrusively with a keen eye for the authentic moments.

Erica and Marcus

Erica and Marcus got married at the Liberty Hotel. They built in enough time for us to walk around the Esplanade and take a ride on the Red Line taking pictures. The day was beautiful, and it was nice to include the city in the celebration. The spontaneous choreographed dance by the wedding party was pretty awesome, too. Congratulations, Erica and Marcus!
