Channing Johnson is a trained photojournalist with a degree from a prestigious journalism school. After working as a newspaper staff photographer he began freelancing for prominent national publications. Today he documents weddings unobtrusively with a keen eye for the authentic moments.

Last week the Wall Street Journal assigned me to spend some time with Katie Smith Milway for a story about people who managed a healthy midlife crisis.
