Home is such an important place for me, and that's true for a lot of us. That's why I love being able to start engagement shoots in a couple's home. When you're always looking to make meaningful photos, it helps to take them in a meaningful place. Katy and Tommy invited me into their home and we were able to capture a little of what a normal day is for them (and their two cats and dog). Afterwards, we wandered the city, and I had to keep reminding myself to take pictures as we walked along chatting. It's a treat to spend time with a couple whose connection has such a strong outward expression.
