Channing Johnson is a trained photojournalist with a degree from a prestigious journalism school. After working as a newspaper staff photographer he began freelancing for prominent national publications. Today he documents weddings unobtrusively with a keen eye for the authentic moments.

The Family Genome

I got an assignment from the Wall Street Journal last week to photograph Anne West at Wellesley College. She is studying her family's genome to find unusually specific information about her and her family's health, including the likelihood of certain diseases. You can read the full story here.
