Channing Johnson is a trained photojournalist with a degree from a prestigious journalism school. After working as a newspaper staff photographer he began freelancing for prominent national publications. Today he documents weddings unobtrusively with a keen eye for the authentic moments.

Ashley and Alden

We started Ashley and Alden's engagement session down the road from where Ashley grew up and along the water where Alden proposed. Afterwards we headed to the family farm where their wedding reception will be next summer. The location sounded beautiful as Ashley and Alden described it to me, but seeing it in person got me even more excited for their wedding. As if learning how much I enjoyed spending time with these two wasn't enough.
