Channing Johnson is a trained photojournalist with a degree from a prestigious journalism school. After working as a newspaper staff photographer he began freelancing for prominent national publications. Today he documents weddings unobtrusively with a keen eye for the authentic moments.

Melissa and Markus

Melissa and Markus are still adorable. While shooting their wedding at The Hawthorne I found out where they get it from. Their families were so charming and affectionate. My job was made easy by all the laughs and subtle expressions. The massive palm of cake to the face was also memorable. I know there still has to be butter cream frosting residue somewhere in Markus' glasses. Congratulations, guys!
