Annah and Neil

Neil and I are cut from the same cloth. We both got our start at the Midland Daily News in Michigan, even if several years apart. Admiring each others work from afar, we never had the opportunity to meet in person until Annah and Neil's wedding weekend. We had too much in common (including dear friends) not to get along. And even though what I knew of Annah was from short planning phone calls with Neil, she (along with the rest of their families) was extremely welcoming and delightful to spend the weekend with. I wasn’t sure what to expect months ago when I was invited to photograph a Grand Rapids wedding in February. But, it wasn’t just the unseasonably high temperatures that left me with a warm feeling. I loved these people and this opportunity to enjoy a part of Michigan I had yet to experience. Congratulations, Annah and Neil!
