Ellis Does Summer
Every day we leave for school Ellis checks to see if anymore of our shriveled strawberry's have turned red. He replanted a weed I pulled so we water that when it looks thirsty even though the rest of our plants are woefully neglected. Ellis doesn't discriminate between shorebreak and pools. He loves water in its many forms. When time allows we've been eating our breakfast on the front porch to study squirrel habits and wave at neighbors. There's a dentist appointment on the calendar so we need to slow our consumption of ice cream and popsicles. Not sure if that's a seasonal thing or if it's just the way we live now. Regardless, please don't go. We love you, Summer.
