Abby and Drew

The pandemic taketh. The pandemic giveth. I was originally unavailable to shoot Abby and Drew’s wedding. Then everything got turned upside down and their plans changed, my calendar got rearranged, and I lucked into one of my 2020 highlights. I knew Abby and Drew from Liza and Brian’s wedding. Liza and Abby are sisters. I was ecstatic when things worked out for me to be there at Abby and Drew’s wedding in Dennis. In a strange year it felt wonderful to be around lovely and familiar people in one of the most laid back and charming weddings I’ve had the privilege to document. Abby and Drew didn’t get the wedding they originally planned, but in some ways they got the wedding they wanted as COVID protocols forced them to have something smaller and more manageable for two people who do better shining attention on others instead of on themselves. It was such a beautiful day by any year’s standards. Congratulations, Abby and Drew!
