Erin and Sean

Erin and Sean were married at a tiny chapel in Hartwick Pines State Park in Grayling, MI. They then shared an intimate dinner with their families at Palette Bistro in Petoskey. I’ve known Sean and Erin for several years. We all cut our teeth at the Midland Daily News, although not at the same time. I always get nervous working for other photographers. However, there was particular anxiety and honor in shooting for two photographers I admire so much and whose origin stories match my own. That weekend any anxiety faded quickly. They kept everything simple and the locations that ranged from cozy forest dwelling to Lake Michigan’s vastness provided stunning backgrounds for the beautiful moments between them and their families.
